Fresno State students, staff and faculty will showcase 10 new wines at the Vintage Release Party from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 25, at the campus winery. Attendees will receive a complimentary wineglass and can taste and purchase newly released red, white, and rosé wines.
Most of the event’s wine will have a 15 percent discount or a 20 percent discount for four bottles. The cost to attend is $10 and guests are encouraged to register online in advance to get a special parking code. In addition, attendees can tour the winery, enjoy food from Jack’s Urban Eats and try student-made products from the campus meat science and creamery units and the Gibson Farmer Market.
The new event will kick off the 45th annual Vintage Days, the biggest student-planned campus event, which will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, April 26 and 27, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 28. INFO: 559.278.6070 or winery_info@mail.fresnostate.edu.
