As part of Portuguese Immigrant Week, the Portuguese Beyond Borders Institute will host the “Portuguese Language Students Youth Day” at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 16, at Fresno State. Over 300 students studying Portuguese from five high schools including Tulare Union, Tulare Western, Mission Oak, Hilmar High School and Turlock High School will be in attendance.
The event will begin with a brief presentation about Portuguese courses at Fresno State in the University Dining Hall at 10 a.m., followed by a Fresno State student panel, a campus tour, folklore dances and lunch in O’neill Park.
