The Women’s Studies National Women’s History Month lecture series begins with a talk by Africana Studies assistant professor Takkara Brunson, titled “Race and the Women’s Movement in Prerevolutionary Cuba (1902-1958),” at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, March. 1, at the Henry Madden Library (Room 3212).
The free, public series is sponsored by the Women’s Studies program.

- “No Entry and No Safe Haven: LGBTQ+ Asylum Seekers and Migrants Under Trump” by Katherine Fobear, Women’s Studies assistant professor at 12:30 p.m. – 2 p.m. Thursday, March 15 in Henry Madden Library (Room 3212).
