Final preparations are underway for the 2017 season of the CSU Summer Arts program that returns to Fresno State beginning Sunday, June 25 after a five-year hiatus at Cal State Monterey Bay. The unique arts summer school and festival of the California State University presents master classes for more than 400 college students in the visual, performing, literary and media arts taught by world-class artists who also hold performances for the general public. Summer Arts also features a full guest artist performance season that includes concerts, theatre productions, dance performances, lectures and readings. The season culminates with a student showcase series. Public events include a lecture by Star Wars cinematographer Bruce Logan and a Latin Jazz concert by Grammy-Award artist David Sanchez.
