The Fresno State Pre-Veterinary Club will host a dog vaccine and microchip clinic from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 8, in the campus Livestock Judging Pavilion (northeast corner of Woodrow and Portals Avenue). Students will administer vaccines for rabies and DHPP (distemper, hepatitis, parainfluenza and parvovirus) for $10 each as well, as microchip dogs for $20 (or all three for $30). An additional $10 fee is necessary for microchip registration. No appointments are necessary and raffle tickets are available for $1 with prizes from Elaine’s Pet Resort, Kennedy Meadows, training classes and other gifts. Dog owners can also bring previous immunization records for advice on what shots are needed for different age dogs. INFO: Angela Stone, fresnostateprevetclub@gmail.com.
