Timothy Ryan, 20, a junior political science major from Edison High School in Fresno, was elected Fresno State’s Associated Student, Inc. president for 2016-17.
Ryan, the current senator representing the College of Social Sciences, received 1,171 votes over the three-day voting period that ended Thursday. He defeated Cameran Patterson by 50 votes.
Senior Nicholas Stephens was elected vice president of finance and Connor Esraelian was elected vice president of external affairs.
Results for the 2016-2017 Associated Students, Inc. elections were tallied Thursday by representatives from the League of Women Voters of Fresno and will be available at bit.ly/FS-ASInews.
The new senators and executives will be officially installed June 1.
