Wine and raisin grape growers are invited to attend the Fresno State Vineyard Mechanization and Sensing Workshop hosted by the Department of Viticulture and Enology from 8:30 – 3 p.m. Saturday, April 25 at the Leon S. and Pete Peters Educational Center (Shaw and Woodrow avenues). Advance registration is required by April 18. The workshop will begin with presentations from Fresno State faculty members and other guests on new varieties, mechanization and quality issues for large and high-value producers, as well as several other topics. Equipment demonstrations and additional presentations in the Fresno State vineyard on Barstow between Cedar and Maple avenues will follow indoor activities and presentations.
