The Kremen School of Education and Human Development will kick off the first of five Kremen Research Colloquium presentations at 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 12. Today’s event will feature Dr. Steven Hart discussing “Service-Learning Impacts on Adolescents’ Persuasive Essay Writing.”
Hart is an associate professor in the Literacy, Early, Bilingual and Special Education Department and coordinator of the Reading master’s program at Fresno State.
The talk will examine a collected survey and writing achievement data from a group of middle school students involved in service-learning experiences. The free, public event will be in Kremen Building, room 316.
