Fresno State Talks, the only student-selected lecture series on campus featuring university faculty, presents three professors this semester discussing the paranormal, deaf culture and a psychological blueprint.

The free, public lectures will be Feb. 13, 19 and 26 at 7 p.m. in the Satellite Student Union with   a reception beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Nominations were solicited from students in the fall semester for the three professors selected for the spring series which premieres Thursday, Feb. 13, with Dr. TwoTrees Haar Farris, professor of Philosophy.

He will discuss “Esoterica, the Paranormal, and Superhumanity: Secular-Religious Mythology in Contemporary Culture.”

Rosemary W. Diaz, Communicative Disorders and Deaf Studies Department professor, will discuss “Building Bridges between the Deaf-World and Hearing Allies” on Wednesday, Feb. 19.

Dr. Jenelle N. Gilbert, Kinesiology professor, will discuss “The Psychological UNIFORM: A Blueprint for Peak Performance” on Wednesday, Feb. 26.
